Getting to know how the building process works will help you understand the steps needed to build your dream. When you are a Spani client, here is how we work with you.

CONSULTATION

Call us at 604-740-0424 to set-up your free consultation meeting to help us learn about your project needs. Our team will ask you questions about what you want to build, your lot, vision, consultants you already work with, and desired budget. Download our checklist of questions to prepare yourself ahead of time.

PLANNING

Once we have determined your goals, we show you what’s possible within your budget and provide a detailed project plan including proposed costs, time frame, and a contract. We then assemble a team of consultants to work with you. We do a full site visit, secure the proper reports and engineering details, development and building permits, and your building insurance.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Once the necessary permits are in place, our team gets to work with clearing the lot and doing the excavation work for the foundation. We ensure the septic or sewer, water, and electrical hook-ups are in place, and work with any engineers required, then proceed with the footing or foundation work.

CONSTRUCTION

Our team works on both the interior and exterior of your project at the same time throughout the construction stage. Because we have a full-service staff that can handle every stage of the process, this means there are no delays to your project timeline. Multiple building inspections are handled directly by the Spani team during this process to get you across the finish line.

COMPLETION

Once the final building inspection is completed, we obtain an occupancy permit for you then hand you the keys and walk you through your new home!
